An August 2022 Bell Tower Progress Update: Getting Closer!
Neale Nickels, HOF’s senior director of capital projects is back with another update on the ongoing rehabilitation of Oakland Cemetery’s iconic 1899 Bell Tower building. Since our last update in July, the elevator has been installed, framing for the public restroom is up, and the old roofs for the second-floor porches have been removed in preparation for installing new ones.
When the building is complete, it will be the perfect venue for luncheons, wedding receptions, lectures, and other private events. Take a look!
