Girl Scout Search Scavenger Hunt
March 11 @ 8:00 am - December 31 @ 6:00 pm
Historic Oakland Foundation is partnering with the Girl Scouts of Greater Atlanta for a self-guided scavenger hunt through Oakland Cemetery! This brand-new scavenger hunt, which starts March 12, features new riddles to solve, residents to find, and challenges to complete.
Oakland Cemetery is the final resting place of incredible women who shaped Atlanta and paved the way for future generations– trailblazers, pioneers, artists, organizers, and leaders. Girl Scouts will discover their stories, build confidence in navigation abilities, and develop new skills with the Girl Scout Search scavenger hunt!
As a troop, purchase your Girl Scout Search packet online, download, print, and follow cryptic clues to solve 12 different riddles. There are two packets to choose from: Easy (ideal for Brownie and Junior troops) and Medium (Cadettes, Seniors, and Ambassadors). No reservations are required to participate.
All Girl Scout Search proceeds benefit the Historic Oakland Foundation and the Girl Scouts of Greater Atlanta.
Earn an Oakland Cemetery fun patch when you complete the Girl Scout Search! Patches will be available for purchase at our online store after March 11. See your Girl Scout Search receipt for a special discount code. This brand-new patch features Selena Sloan Butler, a trailblazing educator and one of seven Georgia Women of Achievement buried at Oakland Cemetery.
