Summer Camp: Active Adventures

Explore art, history, nature, and science in one of Atlanta’s most special parks!

Atlanta’s historic Oakland Cemetery is offering week-long camps for summer vacation.

Our camps provide a unique opportunity to explore art, history, and nature through daily creativity-fueling crafts, exciting skill-building games, hands-on problem-solving activities, and engaging experiments that will ignite campers’ imagination and love of learning.

Activities are centered around a different theme each week, so students can attend one or more camps and have a different experience each week.

Oakland Camps are for children ages 6-11. Your camper must be in this range by the start of camp.

June 9 - 13 Camp Theme: Active Adventures

Get ready for a week of exciting exploration, teamwork, and outdoor fun! Campers will dive into nature with activities like urban hiking, wildlife spotting, orienteering, and nature crafts, while building confidence and outdoor skills. This camp is perfect for young explorers who want to connect with nature and create unforgettable memories in the great outdoors.

Each day is a new adventure, where campers learn the basics of survival, tackle obstacle courses, and explore natural habitats. Camp activities included games, storytelling, challenges, and hands-on discovery.
