Young Historians Homeschool Days
Experience a different side of Oakland Cemetery with Young Historians, Historic Oakland Foundation’s educational program for homeschool students and their families. Each program will explore a special topic and offer opportunities for students to learn in Oakland Cemetery’s unique setting.
Each two-hour Young Historians program includes games, fun activities, and tours designed to engage and educate. Programs are age-appropriate, and educational activities correspond to Georgia Performance Standards.
Young Historians programs are from 10 a.m. to noon. Programs will be held inside the Visitors Center and outside on the grounds of Oakland Cemetery.
Student tickets are $8 for children of Historic Oakland Foundation members, and $10 for children of non-members. Adult tickets are free. Spaces are limited, and tickets must be purchased in advance.
