Young Historians Homeschool Program
Experience a different side of Oakland Cemetery with Young Historians, Historic Oakland Foundation’s educational program for homeschool students and their families. Each program will explore a special topic and offer opportunities for students to learn in Oakland Cemetery’s unique setting.
Each two-hour Young Historians program includes games, fun activities, and tours designed to engage and educate. Programs are age-appropriate, and educational activities correspond to Georgia Performance Standards.
Young Historians programs are from 10 a.m. to noon. Programs will be held inside the Visitors Center and outside on the grounds of Oakland Cemetery.
Student tickets are $6 for children of Historic Oakland Foundation members, and $8 for children of non-members. Adult tickets are free. Spaces are limited, and tickets must be purchased in advance.
For more information, contact Marcy Breffle at firstname.lastname@example.org or (404) 546-4039.

Parents are welcome and encouraged to stay with their children during the program. A portion of each program will be spent on the grounds of Oakland Cemetery, so you will also have an opportunity to learn about this historic site along with your child.
Each program’s enrollment size varies but will not exceed 30 students and adults.
Please email Marcy Breffle at email@example.com as soon as possible to let us know you won’t be coming. Because of the limited capacity of each program, there is often a waiting list. Your tickets can be applied to a future Young Historians program.
