Victorian Gadgets – Homeschool Program

February 22 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

What do a telephone, a bicycle, a sewing machine, and Coca-Cola have in common? All were invented or used for the first time in the 1800s. Join us as we learn about how 19th-century inventions impacted the lives of past Atlantans. After testing out a few Victorian gadgets, students will be challenged to invent something life-changing for the next generation.

Recommended for ages 7-11.

This is a Young Historians Homeschool Program. For more information, contact Marcy Breffle at mbreffle@oaklandcemetery.com or (404) 546-4039.
