Discover the history, the Victorian gardens, and the art and architecture that give Oakland its distinctive character. Oakland is an outdoor museum of Atlanta’s history with over 70,000 residents. Meet the trailblazers, builders, creators, and characters who call Oakland home.

Join one of our knowledgeable and entertaining guides on Saturdays and Sundays at 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. for a 90-minute walking tour through Atlanta’s past and present. Wednesday tours are also available.

Spaces are extremely limited, so we recommend purchasing your tickets in advance. Tour groups are capped at 16 people to allow for social distancing on tours.

Historic Oakland Foundation is committed to following CDC public health guidelines. Masks will be required for all guests to enter the Museum Shop.  Vaccinated guests can remove their masks during a tour. If an at-risk tour guest is uncomfortable, all tour guests will agree to continue wearing their masks for the duration of the tour to ensure the comfort of all visitors.
