Join us on National Couple’s Day for Love Stories of Oakland!
Love never dies at Oakland Cemetery. Grab your love for a unique outdoor date night at Oakland Cemetery. Enjoy a special sunset walk through Oakland’s Victorian garden cemetery as we recount the loves of Atlantans of days past. Discover the symbolism of love found on monuments throughout the grounds and stories of devotion that extend into the afterlife.
This tour begins at the Bell Tower (located inside Oakland Cemetery) at 7:30 p.m. Check-in begins at 7:00 p.m. Your tour includes a complimentary wine or beer. The bar opens at 7:00 PM and closes at 7:30 p.m. Space is limited – purchase your tickets in advance.
Parking
Complimentary parking is available in the gravel lot adjacent to the main gate located at 248 Oakland Ave. SE.
Accessibility
Not all areas of Historic Oakland Cemetery are wheelchair accessible. Please let us know if you need an accessible route when purchasing your ticket.
