Nightfall Chronicles: Epitaphs, the Immortality of Words
July 11 @ 7:30 pm - 8:30 pm
Nightfall Chronicles is a sunset tour series featuring some of Oakland’s most popular walking tours. Join us July 11 for Epitaphs, the Immortality of Words.
About the Tour
How would you like to be remembered? Victorians gave considerable thought to this concept. An epitaph is described as “a statement commemorating or epitomizing a deceased person.” Join us as we explore some of the fascinating epitaphs that grace the monuments of Oakland. Whether brief or rambling, poignant or humorous, all provide insight into the person’s life. It’s certain you’ll walk away with a favorite!
Dinner Deal: Save 20% at Republic Social House. Present your digital ticket at Republic Social House (across the street from Oakland) and get 20% off your food order.
