Malts & Vaults of Oakland: Prohibition Edition

Oakland Cemetery’s popular guided walking tour, Malts & Vaults: Where Beer Meets History, returns for a special Prohibition-themed tour. The hour-long tour is available with advance ticketing only and spaces are limited.

Tours will leave from the Bell Tower. Stick around after the tour for a complimentary sampling of beer selections from New Realm Brewing Company (courtesy of My Friend’s Growler Shop) and a unique Prohibition-inspired cocktail. The tasting is for adults 21+ with valid I.D.

All ticket holders will enjoy a 10 percent discount on items in the Museum Shop. Authors Mary Boyle and Ron Smith will be on hand to autograph copies of their books, Atlanta Beer: A Heady History of Brewing in the Hub of the South and Prohibition in Atlanta, which are available for purchase in Oakland’s Visitors Center & Museum Shop.


Adults: $16
Students and seniors 65+ (with valid ID): $10
Historic Oakland Foundation members: $6
(HOF Membership will be verified at check-in)
