Boys of Summer Baseball Tour

March 30 @ 10:30 am - 11:30 am

Celebrate the start of baseball season with a look back at the first baseball game in Atlanta, a showdown between the Gate City Nine and Atlanta Baseball Club on May 12, 1866. Join us for a tour that recaptures the spirit of the day and examines the lives of several of the players taking part in that historic game.

This hour-long tour starts at 2:30 pm at the Oakland Cemetery Visitors Center. After the tour, head over to Republic Social House to watch the Atlanta Braves battle the Philadelphia Phillies. Republic will show the game and offer a special deal for tour ticket holders (free appetizer, $3 Bud Light pints, and $8 Bud Light pitchers).

Adult: $12
Student: $6
Senior (65+): $6
Historic Oakland Foundation member: Free
