Author’s Afternoon: Proven Plants, Southern Gardens by Erica Glasener [Members]

April 28 @ 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm

Author, horticulturalist, and television personality Erica Glasener hosts a discussion of her book, Proven Plants, Southern Gardens.

Erica hosted “A Gardener’s Diary” on HGTV for more than a decade and produced Growing a Greener World on GPB. Erica is the author of several books about gardening, including a few that were written with “The Georgia Gardener” Walter Reeves. She has also served as a contributing editor for Fine Gardening and has seen her articles published in The New York Times, The Farmer’s Almanac and Atlanta Magazine.

Proven Plants, Southern Gardens highlights the 10 most proven plants in the 15 most popular categories of southern plants. It is a veritable Whos Who of plants for the South, reminding the reader of the plants that over time have proven their worthiness to be in every southern garden.

The event will be held in Oakland Cemetery Bell Tower’s Bobby Jones Room, overlooking the beautiful western view of the grounds and the Atlanta skyline.

This free event is open to HOF members and non-members accompanied by a member. Members get 10% off books and other Museum Shop merchandise.
