Oakland Cemetery is bringing the award-winning Capturing the Spirit of Oakland tours to your living room. Grab a bag of popcorn and turn the lights down to enjoy this annual Halloween tradition.
Our tours are designed to enlighten, not frighten, so settle in with the family for amazing and eclectic stories of Oakland Cemetery. This year’s Capturing the Spirit of Oakland™ tours include one of Atlanta’s first prison matrons, a Shakespearean actor who overcame a visual impairment, and one of the most prominent seamstresses of early twentieth-century Atlanta.
