Shindig recap
A fabulous time was had by all at the second annual Oakland Shindig on March 27, 2010. The event was held at the Trees Atlanta Kendeda Center. More than 200 party-goers enjoyed live music, open bar with cocktail buffet, oyster bar and other delectable offerings from Six Feet Under, Morton's Steak House, Ruth's Chris, Doc Chey's and Tin Lizzy's. There was a "lively" silent and live auction conducted by Auction Management Co. all for a good cause - proceeds from the event will benefit Oakland's ongoing landscape restoration efforts. Close to $25,000 was raised! We hope to see you next year!
